Luther Freeman

    Mr. Luther Freeman, age 70 of McClures Bend, died Saturday morning, February 18 at Riverview Regional ER in Carthage.  He is survived by: wife, Maxine Sue Cason- Freeman of McClures Bend; children, Joseph Freeman and wife Rebecca of Lakeland, Florida, William Freeman (Skeeter) of Bay City, Michigan, Penny Culver and husband David of Lakeland, Florida; 2 sisters,

Ola May Kelly and husband Marvin, Opal Anderson and husband Raymond of Lakeland, Florida; 3 stepchildren, Randall Lucas of Kalkaska, Michigan, Geri Lucas and Connie Fischer of Cape Canaveral, Florida, 4 grandchildren.

    Mr. Freeman is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Jeff Burton officiating.   Interment in North Sorcum Church Cemetery in Lakeland, Florida.

    The family will receive friends at the Carthage Chapel on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m.

Lou Ella Grisham

    Mrs. Lou Ella Grisham, age 94 of Carthage, died Tuesday evening, February 21 at the Hendersonville Hospital.  She is survived by:  son, Ray Grisham & wife Bobbie Sue of Lebanon;  daughter-in-law, Mary Helen Grisham of Gallatin;  9 grandchildren;  20 great-grandchildren;  13 great-great-grandchildren.

    Mrs. Grisham is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted Friday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Shane Smith and Bro. Larry Butler officiating.  Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens.

    The family will receive friends at the Carthage Chapel on Thursday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.
